Marina Regulations

null

We would like to remind all of our boaters that Port District ordinances empower our security officers and other staff members to enforce District rules and regulations to include issuing of citations for violations. We ask each of you to please help us by observing these rules and asking your guests to do so as well.

General/All Docks

  1. Swimming is strictly prohibited within the marina for obvious safety reasons.  Jumping or diving off piers and walkways is also prohibited.
  2. All walkways/head walks must be kept clear of equipment, tools, personal belongings, dinghies, rafts, bikes, mopeds, lawn furniture, decorations, appliances, jet skis, inflatables, etc.  Any such items are to be stored onboard your vessel or in your dock box.
  3. Riding or operating any bicycle, moped, skateboard or other vehicle is prohibited any where on the docks.
  4. All pets are to be kept on a leash and under the direct control of the owner at all times while on the Port District property.  Securing pets to any appurtenances is strictly prohibited; they are not to block any walkway, pier, dock or entrance at any time.  A dog walk area is provided behind the bushes across from the Administration building.  Mutt- Mitt bags and trash containers are provided for your convenience.  Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up any mess left by their pets.
  5. If your pet is deemed to be dangerous due to aggressiveness toward people or other pets or is considered a nuisance due to barking or other disturbance, it must be removed from the marina area.
  6. Only items approved and installed by the Port District shall be attached to the piers.  Approval will be based on upon the adaptability of the item to the slip and the effect it has upon the aesthetics of the slip area or any possible adverse effect on the pier structure.
  7. Dinghies, tenders, jet skis and other personal watercraft shall be stored on in the slip or upon the vessel renting the slip. None of the aforementioned shall be stored under any main pier or head walk. If the item can not conform to the above guidelines, it must be moored in a separate slip.
  8. We ask that you assist us in holding down costs by shutting off air conditioning units when you are not using your boat.
  9. Every slip is equipped with one dock box at no additional expense. You are responsible for any damage resulting from abuse or neglect. Dock boxes may not be marked, personalized, painted or have any decals affixed to them. Storage of any flammable or hazardous substances within the dock box is strictly prohibited.
  10. We ask all of our boaters to be considerate of their neighbors and to observe quiet time between the hours of 10 P.M. and 7 A.M.

Floating Docks

  1. Nothing may be attached to head walks or finger piers or dock boxes without Port District approval.
  2. No lines may be attached from the center mooring pile to the head walk.
  3. Approved line caddies and dock wheels are available through the Port District and must be installed by the District personnel.
  4. Any such items left on docks or attached to dock boxes will be removed and discarded at boater’s expenses.
